Granular Pot Washer
MAIN FRAME
- All heavy gauge, stainless steel, welded construction equipped with adjustable feet with concealed threads. Feet to be adjustable from 3" - 7" and capable of adjusting to uneven floors. Totally enclosed including top, bottom, and rear.
INTERIOR CABIN
- Shall be special design and shape, fabricated from #16 ga., type 304, #4 finish stainless steel, welded construction. Interior cabin to be fully enclosed including rear and bottom.
EXTERIOR
- Shall be removable #19 ga,. 304, #4 finish stainless steel panels and to have special, sound-absorbing insulation. Front shall be equipped with a #16 ga., type 304, #4 finish stainless steel, double pan, insulated door with heavy duty hinges and handle. Door to be equipped with a safety interlock to prevent opening during the wash cycle. Located in one panel provide a water-tight command panel fitted with a heavy duty, green, operator button.
WASH RACK
- Provide two single wash racks. Racks to be 3/8" o/d electropolished stainless steel wire with 3/8" wide by 1/2" thick, perforated stainless steel bottom bars. The rack shall be able to hold full size pans, fractional size pans, bun pans, stock pots, sauce pans and or frying pans, without the need for additional accessories. Wash rack shall rotate inside the cabin to permit easy loading without spillage of food on the floor. Racks to be supported on specially designed, #11 ga., type 304, #2B finish stainless steel frame, and to be removable and replaceable without tools. Wash racks to be provided with two special pot supports.
WASH/RINSE SYSTEM
- Shall be comprised of 4 oscillating, heavy duty, stainless steel manifolds, 2 left and 2 right, with a total of 32 specially designed, specially positioned spray heads, to ensure complete pattern of granules and water over all ware surfaces facing nozzles. Provide two, 4 H.P. wash pumps, one for each set of manifolds, to ensure, efficient granule and water distribution and a redundancy function in the event of a pump motor breakdown. Wash tank to hold more than 60 gallons of water to permit longer working sessions between refills. Unit to be furnished with built-in booster heater. Rinse system shall have 24 spray heads and shall be equipped with a temperature gauge indicating water temperature entering the rinse system piping. Wash nozzles, manifolds and all other interior fitting shall be removable and replaceable without tools to facilitate end-of-day cleaning. The wash nozzles and manifolds shall be so designed that they can only be replaced in the correct position.
GRANULE SEPARATION DEVICE

- Shall be designed for the collection of granules during the separation phase of each cycle and for the collection of granules in removable containers to facilitate end-of-day interior cabin cleaning. Granule containers to be removable and replaceable without tools and to have level indicators to determine actual amount of granules in the machine.
COMMAND PANEL & ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS
- The machine shall be controlled by a programmable micro-processing system that allows the user to choose the following options:
- Number of wash programs (up to 9)
- Duration of each program
- Wash and rinse temperature
- Language selection
The processor shall be able to store and, when requested, display running statistics, and incidents since previous servicing. The command panel shall be fitted with a background lit LCD display to inform the operator of the current cycle position and the time remaining, as well as signals indicating On/Off, malfunction and fault and usage of main power loads. The electrical control panel shall be located at eye-level to permit easy monitoring during service. The control software shall be designed so as to limit access to the programming system to authorized personal only.
SAFETY CONTROL
- The electrical control system shall be fitted with a key safety switch with a positive opening. The switch shall block all relays controlling the wash and rinse cycles in such a way that only if the key, which is fitted into the cabin access door, is inserted into the switch can these circuits operate. Further, the door shall be locked by means of a motorized locking device that prevents any accidental opening of the door during use.
OPERATION
- The control system shall allow routine operation of the machine using only one button.
